With over 14 years of experience as a Medical Office Assistant specializing in surgical practices, I've cultivated the expertise necessary to effectively manage and streamline surgical offices. My commitment to excellence in patient care is unwavering, and I take pride in ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of service.

As the primary point of contact for patients, the role of an MOA is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of any medical practice. Recognizing the significance of a skilled and satisfied MOA, I prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of my team.

In recent years, I've observed a growing demand for proficient MOAs in the field, coupled with a decline in new entrants. This trend has placed additional strain on specialists managing their staff independently, often resulting in overwhelmed MOAs, burnout, and staff turnover. To address this challenge, I've assembled a team of trained and proficient MOAs who collaborate with me to deliver exceptional service across multiple clinics.

In 2017, I graduated from the Nursing Unit Clerk program at UFV and have a background doing clerical work in hospital settings. While working in Emergency Registration, Admitting, Medical Records at multiple sites, I've gained valuable experience that has shaped my approach to patient care.

In May 2023, seeking a new challenge, I joined Fraser Valley MOA Solutions and transitioned into the role of a Medical Office Assistant. This opportunity has not only provided me with the flexibility I cherish but also the invaluable support of Corrie, who is always there to help. Under her guidance, I've received comprehensive initial training and ongoing day-to-day support, empowering me to excel in my role.

I'm a seasoned medical office assistant with a decade of experience in specialist practices, particularly in endoscopy and OR booking. My expertise lies in ensuring efficient and seamless operations within medical facilities, coupled with a strong dedication to patient care.

With a keen eye for organization and a compassionate approach to patient interactions, I take pride in making sure everything runs smoothly. Managing multiple surgeons' schedules is just one aspect of my role, where precision and attention to detail are paramount.

Beyond the bustling environment of healthcare, I'm a devoted mom who finds joy in spending quality time with my son. Balancing the demands of work with the joys of motherhood is a challenge I embrace wholeheartedly, striving to excel in both realms.

I have known Corrie White for over 5 years. During that time she has worked as my surgical office assistant initially full-time and currently on a part time basis. I have a fairly busy practice that encompasses elective general surgery, endoscopy, and acute care call. We manage patients with complex medical and surgical issues, and have significant scheduling challenges related to urgency of presentations and logical issues at our hospital.
During this entire time Corrie's contribution to our practice has been incredible: She is extremely diligent with ensuring timely patient access to the office as well as last minute operative scheduling changes; she has great work ethic and seems to always be available to help; and nearly all patients comment on how personable and friendly she is in the office.
It's been a real pleasure working with Corrie and we always remain hopeful that she will stay with us as long as possible.
